Individual Counseling

At Mentivo Wellness, our individual counseling in Dallas-Fort Worth offers a safe and compassionate space to work through personal challenges, emotional struggles, and life transitions. We provide support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management, as well as specialized care for those experiencing church hurt, spiritual abuse, or faith-related trauma.

For those who desire it, we offer Christian and spiritually integrated counseling, helping clients explore healing through both faith and evidence-based approaches. We respect all beliefs and never impose our personal values, ensuring that your counseling experience reflects your own worldview and goals.

Pre-marital Counseling

Preparing for marriage is one of life’s most important commitments. Our premarital counseling in Dallas and Fort Worth equips couples with the tools to establish a strong foundation for a lifelong partnership.

Through guided sessions, we address communication skills, conflict resolution, financial planning, family dynamics, and shared values. If desired, we integrate Christian premarital counseling principles to help couples align their faith and relationship vision.

We honor and respect all perspectives, ensuring that our role is to support, not influence, your personal beliefs as you prepare for marriage.

Couples Counseling

Our DFW couples counseling focuses on strengthening relationships, improving communication, and resolving conflicts.

Whether you and your partner are navigating ongoing disagreements, intimacy issues, or major life transitions, our counseling sessions provide a supportive and neutral space to foster connection and understanding.

We can incorporate Christian or spiritual counseling upon request, weaving faith-informed insights with proven relationship-building techniques. While our approach is respectful of all backgrounds, we never push our personal beliefs—your values and relationship goals guide the process.

Why we don't accept insurance.

Time-consuming:  As a way to keep our overhead low our practitioner performs ALL aspects of the business management. Stopping to submit paperwork and answer questions from insurance representatives is time-consuming.

Delayed payments: Insurance companies are quick to deny and slow to pay.

Control: Practitioners prefer to be in charge of their practice. Do you want a non-licensed individual deciding what you need and not the person you paid to make that decision? Or a company telling you that you can only have 6 sessions covered because they expect you to be well on their arbitrary schedule?
